2000 Studied Fine Arts at Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) Balmain, Sydney
Majors in sculpture. 

2003  "Linear" Solo show at TAP Gallery, Darlinghurst. 
Featuring a large range of sculptural explorations and installations made from wire as if  they were magically drawn lines on space. 

 

2006  "Graduate Show" @ DCE
Interactive and print design showcase - Graduated from Design Centre Enmore (Adv Dip Graphic Design) 
 

2008 “Stapled to the Ceiling”, Stoic Gallery, Marrickville, Sydney, Group Show

2010 Introduced to Leather Work

- Studied briefly under Silivia Guerrera, Sydney

2014  Became a dad! Moved to the country!  

Also Started full time professional leatherworking trading as "Mario Sanchez - Unique Handcrafted Leather".  

 

2017  Opened my creative studio
"The Leather Shop - Kyogle" in Kyogle's Main Street. 

2020 Fires, Covid, Floods, Trump and War 
 

2021 Built and grew a leather goods and customs business. 

Took on an apprentice, together we made plans to take over the world. 
 
2023 Mopoke Art Festival - @The Barracks, Sydney

I won second prize winner in the Leather Picture and Creative Design Categories.
